Ingredients: 0.5 Cup port, ruby divided 0.25 Cup milk, whole
|
Directions:
Cream butter, white sugar and brown sugar. Add eggs and beat well. Add vanilla, milk, and half of the wine.
Sift together the flour and baking powder. Add nuts alternately with dry ingredients.
Put in buttered and floured 9x13 inch pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
Combine powdered sugar, the remaining port and the melted butter. Beat well. When cake is cool, top with glaze. Cut into bars. |
