You can use Lindy's Marinara Sauce or a jar of Newman's Own Sockarooni Sauce for this dish.

Ingredients: 3 6-ozs chicken breast, boneless, skinless cut into 2-inch pieces 1 to taste salt and pepper

Directions:
Sauté onion in butter until limp and set aside.
Season chicken with salt and pepper to taste and tarragon, if desired. Dredge in flour and sauté in pan used to sauté onion for about 5 to 7 minutes.
Meanwhile, cook tortellini in salted boiling water according to package directions. Drain.
Add onions, Marinara sauce, and tortellini. Stir together, heating thoroughly for 5 to 10 minutes.
Garnish with parsley. |

2.5 Tablespoons oil, olive 1 Tablespoon basil, fresh finely chopped 0.5 Tablespoon oregano, fresh finely chopped 1 to taste pepper, black |
Directions:
In a medium saucepan or skillet, heat the oil.
Add the onions and garlic and sauté over medium-low heat for 6 to 8 minutes until soft. Add the tomatoes, tomato paste, basil, oregano, sugar, salt, and pepper.
Reduce heat to low and simmer, partially covered for 20 to 40 minutes. Stir occasionally. |
