Directions:
Pour canned beans into a colander to drain liquid off.

Meanwhile, slice bacon strips into 1/4 inch pieces. Place in hot skillet and cook until bacon is crispy. With a slotted spoon, put bacon in the casserole dish.

Put onion into bacon fat and cook until onion begins to soften. Pour contents of skillet into the casserole.

Pour drained beans into casserole and add brown sugar and mustard. Stir until well combined. Place casserole in preheated oven and bake uncovered for 1 hour or until the top begins to carmelize.
