Ingredients: 0.5 Cup crisco
|
Directions:
Cream vegetable shortening and sugar with electric mixer. Add molasses and egg; beat well. With a spoon, stir in flour, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, allspice and salt. Dough will be stiff.
Cover and chill 1 hour.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Roll out dough on lightly floured cutting board to 1/4-inch thickness. Cut dough with cookie cutter. Place on greased baking sheet.
Bake 10 minutes. Decorate as desired. |
