1 Tablespoon ginger root chopped
2 Teaspoons oil, sesame, dark
Directions:
n a bowl, mix the soy sauce, water, garlic, and ginger. Place the hen in the mixture and let it marinate for 1 hour.

Preheat a sauce or grill pan. Brown the hen on all sides over medium heat. Place the hen in a baking dish. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.

Make a long slit through the outer skin of the hen. Baste the hen with the oil. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until a thermometer inserted in the thickest portion registers 170-175 degrees and the juices run clear.

Remove the skin from the hen.
