Directions:
In a mixing bowl pour 1 bottle of beer, add flour, paprika and mix well.

In a shallow pie plate mix cinnamon and sugar.

Slice peeled and cored apples into 8 even slices, about ½ inch thick.

Dust with flour and drop into batter. Gently place apples into hot oil (350 degrees) and fry in batches until golden brown, turning once (about 3 minutes). Remove from the oil and pat dry on paper towel and turn in cinnamon and sugar.

Place fritters in center of plate and top with one scoop of vanilla ice cream.
