Directions:
In a 2-quart casserole, mix sugar, cornstarch and salt. Stir in milk; mix well.
Cook in the microwave at High for 5 to 7 minutes, stirring every 3 minutes, until smooth, thick, and clear.
Temper the eggs into the mixture. Cook on Medium-High for 1 to 3 minutes (power 7), stirring after 1 minute until smooth and thickened.
Add butter and vanilla and stir until butter is melted. Pour into serving dishes. |
