Remove loose leaves is sprouts. Make a small X in the bottom of each stem with a sharp knife. Blanche for 3 minutes in boiling water. Heat oven to 425 degrees. Drain sprouts. Place in a roasting pan. Drizzle with melted butter, salt and pepper. Cover in parchment paper that you have brushed the under-side with butter. Braise in oven until desired consistency.
