Rinse and cut apples. Place in a large pan with water. Bring to a simmer, uncovered. Stir as the apples begin to be mushy.

Add in sugar and cook until sugar dissolves.

Remove from heat and pour into a Foley Mill (seeds and peel included). When all the applesuce has been processed, toss contents of mill and check sauce for proper sweetness.

If a mill is not available, peel and core the apples before cooking. It will still be tasty.
