Using a 1/2 recipe (8 servings) each of Strudel Dough and Apple Strudel Filling, prepare a sheet pan with butter or shortening.

Once dough has been stretched, lay it on a clean cloth; this helps when you go to roll the dough. Be careful to maintain original rectangular shape and to avoid tears or folds in the dough.

Spread filling on the dough. Using the cloth, begin to evenly roll the dough from the long side of the rectangle.

Brush dough with melted butter and sprinkle with the almonds.

Bake at 400 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.

Sprinkle with powdered sugar, slice and serve.
